NBA 2K21 – How to Dunk

There are multiple types of Dunks that you can do in NBA 2k21.

There is no denying of the fact that the highlight of every basketball montage is dunk and it is surely quite exciting on the virtual courts of NBA 2k21. If you are wondering how to dunk in NBA 2k21, this step by step guide will show you how.

In order to score a dunk in NBA 2k21, the first thing you need to do is to move towards the basket. To do so, you will have to hold R2 if you are playing on PlayStation 4, RT on Xbox or ZR on Switch. After that, you will have to press shoot when you are close the hoop, which is tied to Square on PS4, X on Xbox One, and Y on Switch, and push the left stick towards the basket.

There are multiple types of Dunks that you can do in NBA 2k21. If you wish to try them, you will have to use different controls, sticks and triggers to do a specific type of dunks.

Two-Hand Dunk

If you want to do Two-Hand dunk in NBA 2k21, you will have to press and hold RT trigger + press the Right Thumbstick Up.

Dominant or Off-Hand Dunk

If you wish to do a dominant or off-hand dunk, you will have to press the RT trigger and press towards the left or right with the thumbstick. 

Flashy Dunks

Unlike Two-Hand Dunk and Dominant Dunk, Flashy Dunks are a little bit hard to do. If you still wish to try it, you can do the same by pressing the RT + holding down on the right stick. If your player is a player with a high dunking ability, they will automatically try to do a flashy dunk in the right situations.

Note: For PlayStation controls on these just press the R2 button.
