In Helldivers 2 you will have to make sure you are well-equipped before you enter the dangerous battlefield, full of alien threats. In order to survive this, you will have to own the most powerful weapons and armor to defend yourself. Similarly, as you progress through the game, you will feel the need to expand your arsenal and unlock new weapons that will help you destroy enemies that are potentially more harmful than the alien bugs.

How to Get More Weapons in Helldivers 2

If you are looking to unlock new primary and secondary weapons, you will have to purchase them from the battle pass section. Therefore, make sure you have collected enough Medals before you begin this process. These Medals are obtained once you have successfully completed the missions you are assigned.

You can then open the ‘Acquisition‘ menu (pressing R on the keyboard and mouse or Square the PlayStation controller). Select the Warbonds menu and you will be able to purchase the weapons that appear on this page.

There will be two Warbond battle passes – Helldivers Mobilise! and the Steeled Veterans. Players will be able to unlock the items that are present on the Helldivers Mobilise! page using their Medals. However, you will have to spend your in-game currency, known as Super Credits, in order to unlock the equipment Steeled Veterans premium battle pass.

  • G-3 Smoke Grenade – 25 Medals
  • SG8S Slugger Shotgun – 60 Medals
  • SG225SP Breaker Spray & Pray Shotgun – 60 Medals
  • PLAS-1 Scorcher Plasma Rifle – 75 Medals

Additionally, you can also get weapons by exploring the area you are in while completing missions. Make sure to look around and inspect all the points of interest so that you can loot all the weapons and armor you might find.

How to Unlock Support Weapons in Helldivers 2

Although players have already unlocked the Machine Gun, they will need other kinds of heavy weaponry as well. One of the best ways to use these weapons is to blast the enemy dropships by using a rocket launcher.

You will be able to use the third weapon slot to equip the weapons you unlock. Similarly, you will have to purchase Stratagems by using all the Requisition points you have collected after completing the objectives during orders or after you have completed a mission.
