In Diablo 4, players can choose their character from the class they want and pick their skills accordingly. How to Unlock More Skill Slots in Diablo 4
In Diablo 4, players will have to level up in the game to unlock more slots. There are up to 6 slots that players can unlock and equip character abilities. You can unlock all of these slots till you get to level 8, after which you won’t be able to add another additional slot for your character. These slots will be on the Hot Bar at the bottom of your screen. With 6 slots and various abilities in the game, players can choose the gameplay style they want to adopt in their campaign.
Skills in Diablo 4 are divided into two types active and passive. While passive skills are skills that work in the background helping characters, Active skills are the ones your character will use against bosses and enemies/monsters/creatures in the game. The game allows you to only equip Active skills in your slots and not passive ones. The slots will also have your primary and secondary attacks. You can always change the key binds for every slot from the in-game settings.
