How to Unlock Magic Spells in Forspoken

Forspoken Change Magic Spells

There are different types of magic spells in the game and bit by bit you will unlock them all. At the time of writing it is still unclear how each of them will be unlocked but there is a basic way in which it will happen. Although you will start with very basic spells, Frey will definitely learn new ones as you progress further in the game.

If you are looking to unlock Magic Spells in Forspoken, you will have to collect Mana and use it to unlock them. You can also unlock a few spells by going to a Fount of Blessing so make sure you check out one when you are close to it. Each type of magic spell holds its own attack, defense, and magical parkour skills.

How to Change Magic Spells

As mentioned above, Magic Spells can be used for attack and support as well. Here are the controls for each Magic Spell:

  • Attack Magic Spell
    • Mapped – R2
    • Switch – Press and Hold R1
  • Support Magic Spell
    • Mapped – L2
    • Switch – Press and Hold L1
  • Surge Magic – Press L2 and R2
