Published Date :

The recreated Mafia: Definitive Edition has updated everything from its original release to make it a modern-day hardware game. It brings us the fun of playing the crime game with enhanced graphics, weapons, and other items while keeping the core gameplay design to the 1990s. Whether you have completed the game or not, having a look at the Free Ride mode in Mafia: Definitive Edition is a great way to spend some extra hours exploring the Lost Heaven World. But unfortunately, the Free Ride Mode is greyed out in the menu and needs to be unlocked before players can explore it. If you are wondering how to do so, continue to read this guide and we will tell you how to unlock Free Ride in Mafia: Definitive Edition.

How to Unlock the Free Ride Mode in Mafia: Definitive Edition

The original game had two different Free Ride modes, the normal Free Ride and the Free Ride Extreme. The normal mode allowed players to freely roam and the Extreme mode tasks players with some interesting challenge in the top of simple exploration. In Mafia: Definitive Edition, developers have merged both the modes into a single Free Ride mode, where players can explore as well as complete some hidden tasks.

To unlock the Free Ride in Mafia: Definitive Edition, you will have to complete the first chapter in the game. The first chapter in the game is named “An Offer You Can’t Refuse.” All the relevant information about the chapter is given at the end of the cinematic introduction to the game.

Since it’s the very first chapter, it is really easy to complete it. Once you complete the first chapter, the Free Ride mode will no longer be greyed out. Now you can go back to the menu and select Free Ride to explore the Lost Heaven world at your own pace.

That’s everything you need to know about how to unlock Free Ride in Mafia: Definitive Edition.
