Foraging is one of the most important skills you can get your hands on in Lost Ark. It forms a part of the 6 Trade Skills that are available to learn in the game. Foraging enables you to find and acquire resources that you would have otherwise purchased. Since it is such an important skill, it also means you cannot get your hands on it immediately in the game. This skill needs to be unlocked, and in today’s guide, we will show you exactly how to do so.
How to Unlock Foraging in Lost Ark?
To unlock Foraging in Lost Ark, you need to first play and progress through the main story in the game. You also need to reach West Luterra. Once you do so, you will need to head over to Lakebar. Here, you will receive the Crown of Lakebar quest.
Completing this quest successfully will help you unlock the Foraging skill in Lost Ark. Additionally, you will also get access to the 5 other Trade Skills in Lost Ark. These include Logging, Mining, Hunting, Fishing, Excavating, and of course, Foraging.
Upon unlocking the Foraging skill, you will need to go to Nickel in Lakebar Village. Here, you need to acquire the Novice Foraging Tool. Remember to acquire this tool without fail, as not doing so will prevent you from Foraging. Once you purchase the said tool and equip your character with it, you can begin Foraging.
You can now proceed by looking for any available plants in and around you. You need to harvest and collect resources from these plants, with each collection of plants costing you 30 Life Energy.
So there you have it. This is all you need to do to unlock the Foraging Skill in Lost Ark. As you can see, doing so is not too difficult. The bonus is the fact that you also receive the rest of the 5 Trade Skills at the same time as well!
