How to Unlock Byzantium quickly in Outer Worlds

Published Date :

Byzantium is a place in The Outer Worlds where you will see a lot of quests requesting you to visit, but none of them will point out the location. This guide will show you how to get to Byzantium early in the game.

How to Unlock Byzantium quickly in Outer Worlds

As the game is incredibly vast and ludicrous, you will first have to play the main storyline for a fair amount of time until you have almost finished everything there is to do on the Groundbreaker.

After that you will need to speak with Udom Bedford in the Halcyon offices, there is where you have to pay attention as only a certain dialogue will let you get the location of Byzantium.

When talking to Udom Bedford, the quickest way to get the location of Byzantium is to follow this dialogue sequence.

  • I know where to find Phineas Wells
  • I saw Welles’ wanted poster, and I want to claim the bounty
  • What?
  • What kind of reasons?
  • Fine, you needed money, what’s next?

As per our testing, this has been the fastest way to get to Byzantium, you should get the “Balance Due” main quest after this series of dialogue with Udom Bedford.

After that make sure that you have at least 8000 Bits to travel to Byzantium which can be a bit of a hassle, so make sure that you are well-prepped and ready by the time you trigger this.

How to Travel fastest to Byzantium Location in Outer Worlds

Once you are done talking to Udom Bedford, find Gladys who will be near the Rest-n-Go sign. You should be able to locate it easily, as all you need to do is find the Medical Bay and you should find Gladys beside it.

Once you meet her, give her the 8000 Bits and in return take the seal, which you will need to deliver back to Udom Bedford, who will give you the Navkey to Byzantium.

After this, you should be able to see Byzantium on the Navigation Terminal on The Unreliable.

This is all you need to do to unlock Byzantium in The Outer Worlds. Check our other Outer Worlds Guide, Tips and Tricks only on Gamer Tweak.
