What is Universal Storage in Lost Ark?

The items in the Universal storage are shared between your characters in different servers until you claim them. That means they are available for any of your characters to claim. But once you use a character to claim them the item will become character bound or roster bound.
Items that you claim from Universal Storage can’t be put back. So in case, you have a good item but not a good character you might want to hold on to it before claiming.

How to Use Universal Storage
You need to unlock Universal storage before you can start using it. And to unlock it simply complete the Prologue. After you get it here is how you can use it:
- Click on Guide on the bottom right corner of the screen.
- The first option here is Universal Storage. Click on it and you can find any unclaimed or missing rewards.
- There will be a checkbox to the left of each reward.
- Check the rewards that you want to claim. You can also click on Select all to claim all of them.
- At bottom of this popup, you will see a button Claim Currency. Click on it.
- This will bring up a popup that says the items cannot be returned to Universal storage once claimed. Click on OK.
- Once you do, you can find the claimed items in your character’s inventory.
How to Fix Missing Universal Storage
If Universal Storage is missing then the first thing you do is make sure you have it unlocked for your new character. Because even if it is shared between the characters, they all should have it unlocked first before using. If you are sure you have unlocked it then you can try the following things:
- Switch characters: Try using another character that has universal storage unlocked. If you can use it on this character, then switch back and try accessing Universal on the one where it was missing.
- Restart the game: A simple fix you can try is close and relaunch the game. There is a good chance you will be able to access the Universal storage with it.
- Log out of the server: Another thing that can help you out is log out of the server for the character that has the universal storage missing. After logging out try logging in again and see if it works.
These 3 fixes should resolve the issue in most cases. If they don’t work then you should wait and try them again.
