Discord Server Boosting is a way to unlock certain locked features of that Server. It is a group effort so the more Nitro users boost a Discord Server the better it is. But sometimes, a user no longer wishes to Boost that Discord Server. Here is what you will have to do.
First off, Boosts are a permanent change to a Discord Server. So a Nitro user cannot just take that boost away if it came with the Discord Nitro Subscription. Although you can transfer the Boost from that Server to another Discord Server. This is how you can Unboost a Discord Server. To do this, you will need to head to your User Settings. From there click on Server Boost. Here you will be shown all of the Boosts that you have put in all of your Discord Servers.
Select the one you want to unboost and click on the 3 dots on the side. There will be two options, Transfer Boosts and Cancel Boost Subscription. If you have bought that boost you can click on the Cancel option and it will unboost the Discord Server. Otherwise, you can click on the Transfer Boost option and put it on a Dummy Server till you find a Discord Server you want to Boost.
