A Gear piece in Splatoon 3 can have Abilities that help the Player during their battles. They can have up to 4 Abilities per piece. Most likely than not, Players are going to unlock said Abilities on default Gear. Later in the game, they get better-looking ones and want to transfer the Abilities they have on the older ones to the new ones. To do this you will need to Transmog, i.e. use Scrub Slots, the Gear in Splatoon 3. To Transmog, you will need to talk to Murch. You can find Murch at the Entrance of the Lobby in Splatsville. But to interact with him, you will need to be at least level 4. You can do that by playing online games.

Once you unlock Murch’s interaction, you will be able to Scrub the Abilities of your Gear. Scrub Slots or Scrubbing is what you will have to select while talking to Murch. This will allow you to remove the Abilities in exchange for 20,000 coins & it will give you Ability Chunks. Now you can take the Ability Chunks & apply them to the Gear you want to have Upgraded on. After that step, the Transmog process will successfully conclude.

This was all about how to Transmog your Gear Pieces with Scrub Slots in Splatoon 3. Hopefully, this guide has helped you. You can also check out our other guides like How To Unlock & Equip New Titles in Splatoon 3.
