Sony has just revealed a new video dedicated to The Last of Us Part 2, this time titled “Inside the Details”.

In the new developer diary video of The Last of Us Part 2, the director Neil Druckmann and other developers discuss about the attention to the various details and aspects that characterizes the game, from places to characters.

This is the third developer diary carried out by Naughty Dog that talks about the “insane attention to detail.” Neil Druckmann also explains character details in the following manner: “Some other events that we’ve had is like now we can make veins pop on their forehead if like they’re really angry or likewise we could redden their skin, it could be based on emotion, or could be based on what’s happening to them physically. How red their eyes can get is controllable, how tears flow off their eyes and their face is all-new tech that we’ve developed for this game.”

The first developer diary was focused on the story and the second focused on the gameplay. The fourth, and probably last, the video will be called “Inside the World,” in which we will almost certainly see more details on the settings, and it will be released on June 3rd.

In case you have missed it, we would also refer you to the long gameplay video shown last night on the occasion of the State of Play, which you can find at this link. Below, however, you can check the third documentary video of the title:

The sequel comes seven years after the first The Last of Us (2013), a game that has positioned itself as one of the best in history, according to critics. In turn, this time we will control Ellie, leaving behind Joel, the protagonist of the first installment.

Recall that The Last of Us Part 2 will be available exclusively on PlayStation 4 on June 19th.
