What do the Tera Shards do in Pokemon Scarlet Violet

Tera Shards are the items or resources that can change your Pokemon’s Tera type to a different type of Tera. But for that, you need 50 Tera shards of that type. Before you use these Tera Shards, you need to complete the Normal Gym challenge in Medali.

Follow the below steps to use the Tera Shards in Pokemon SV:

  • Once you have beaten Gym leader Larry in the challenge, head to the famed Treasure Eatery.
  • Over there, interact and speak with the chef.
  • The first time you visit him, he will reward you with 50 Normal Tera Shards. You can use it to change your Tera-type Pokemon to Normal.
