The open world map is way too big to explore on foot and that is why, you will need mounts like Llama in Soulmask for traveling. During the initial stages of the game, you will come across this animal often but due to low Awareness Strength, you won’t be able to tame it. Once you progress further though, you will have enough resources to tame and mount a Llama. However, you will have a hard time finding it.
Finding Llamas is not a biggie unless you know a few hot spots where they are found. Luckily, there are locations where it spawns more than usual. Here’s a guide featuring all those locations where you can find, tame, and mount a Llama in Soulmask.
Where to Find and Tame Llama in Soulmask
The easiest location where you can find a Llama is probably near the Mysterious Portal (Hill). This area is found in the southern part of the map, near the Barbarian Barrack (Fang Tribe). You can explore this area and find plenty of Llamas there. Once you find a Llama, install a Trap without being noticed and place a corn or Llama Feed in it. This will lure the animals right into the trap so you can capture it. Go near a trapped Llama and press the “Capture” button to tame it.
Some enemy camps have baby Llamas caged and protected. You can always choose to invade, break the cage, and take a baby Llama with you. You can then feed the baby and provide it with water to ensure its healthy growth. A fully grown Llama in Soulmask can then be used for traveling.
How to Mount Llama
To mount a Llama in Soulmask, you will need a Llama Extended Seat Cushion. You can craft this by going to the Technology Tree, under the Dawn of the New Tribe section. You can craft the Saddle by using x24 Leather, x10 Leather Rope, x20 Course Cotton, and x10 Thin Rope. After crafting the Llama Saddle, you will be able to mount the Llama and travel anywhere you want.
What Do Llamas Eat in Soulmask?
Like humans, your tamed Llamas do need care and as a good petter, you should feed them frequently. When it comes to this animal, its diet includes very few things. Below, you will find everything that a Llama likes to eat in Soulmask:
- Pumpkin
- Corn
- Banana
- Pineapple
- Peanut
- Llama Feed (x2 Corn and x20 Fiber)
- Refined Llama Feed (x2 Llama Feed, x2 Refined Salt, and x2 Peanut)
Now that you know know how to tame, feed, and mount Llama in Soulmask, be sure to take it out for a ride. That’s because Llamas have a huge carrying capacity that makes them better than most mounts like Jaguar and Alpaca.
