Is Stardew Valley cross platform? All you need to know

It has been more than four years since Stardew Valley released for all the leading platforms but it is still one of the most loved simulations role-playing video game. There are tons of players who have been wondering if Stardew Valley is crossplay.

Is Stardew Valley Crossplay?

Stardew Valley might support multiplayer mode but it does not support crossplay as of now. Yes, you can’t play Stardew Valley with your friends across platforms. If you to play the game with your friends, make sure your friends are using the same platform on which you are playing the game. If you are playing Stardew Valley on PC, or PS, you would not be able to play with friends playing on Xbox One or Nintendo Switch.

The game is available for all gaming platforms such as PC, PS4, Xbox One, Linux, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. The person who hosts the game should save the file on their platform, which means that person will have to host and begin the game whenever you and your friends want to play it.

The developer of the game has not yet made any official announcement regarding the possibility of Stardew Valley cross-platform. If they ever make any announcement pertaining to cross-platform, we will update this post.

The developers of the game keep rolling out new updates for the game and they are likely to release more games like Stardew Valley in the times to come.
