In the final act of Baldur’s Gate 3, once you reach Rivington, you will come across the Circus of the Last Days. While there are various attractions that you will be able to take on, the one that you will find the most interesting is the Spin the Wheel game hosted by Akabi. The Djinni will invite players to try their luck, however, given that each spin costs you around 500 Gold, you might want to think twice before playing the game.
There are several prizes and rewards that Akabi is willing to offer as consolation in the game which would make players quickly realize that something is not right. Although, finding out what’s wrong may need you to pass some checks, so it’s better to save the game beforehand. And if you are still out of sorts and wondering whether or not you should spin Akabi’s Wheel in Baldur’s Gate 3, then here is everything you need to know.
Should You Spin Akabi’s Wheel in Baldur’s Gate 3?
Simply put, yes, we would suggest that you spin Akabi’s Wheel in Baldur’s Gate 3 since it will let you get your hands on the legendary trident Nyrulna and Band of the Mystic Scoundrel. However, it is worth mentioning that you will find yourself constantly losing the game where the Djinni will hand out the consolation prizes accordingly. After passing a Perception Check you will quickly realize that the game is rigged.
That said, while you might not win the game the traditional way, it doesn’t mean that you won’t be able to take down the Djinni at all. Once you have passed the Perception Check, you will be able to pin the blame on Akabi in the game. However, without any proof, it will anger the Djinni and he will turn you into a cheese wheel for the next 20 turns, something you might want to avoid.
The right way would be to pickpocket the Djinni Ring he has in his possession which manipulates the game the way he wants using Mage Hand. After pickpocketing the ring, you can Spin Akabi’s Wheel in Baldur’s Gate 3 once again. You will potentially win the jackpot because this time around Akabi won’t be using the ring.
However, the Djinni will be visibly angry with the players and will accuse them of cheating in the game. And this time around, instead of turning you into a Cheese Wheel, he will teleport you to the Jungle of Chult. It’s here that you will stumble upon the Band of the Mystic Scoundrel and Nyrulna.
Once you spawn, head down south towards X: 1562, Y: 1518 where you will come across a Broken Tent. Besides the tent, you will find a Backpack with the Band of the Mystic Scoundrel. After which you can head towards the portal which will cast you out of the jungle, however, just beside the portal will be a chest containing the legendary Trident Nyrulna. It is worth mentioning that the chest will be locked and you will need to lockpick it.
