How to Speed Up Battles In Monster Hunter Stories 2?
Use the ZL + ZR combination to ‘Quick Finish’ and speed up your battles. Make sure you do this at the start of the battles. There will be an indication on the bottom left of the screen when you can use this feature to speed up the battle.
This feature is only available in certain areas that you have leveled up. It will not be available all the time either, only at some instance. So whenever you get this option, we suggest you use it to get some pace to your gameplay every once in a while.
Apart from that, you can also skip battle animations by toggling the + button. This will speed up your battles considerably. Though you can just play the game normally, you will sometimes just want to get to the main part directly without wasting much of your time with introductions and cut scenes.
