Where to Find the Snow Stalker Fur in Subnautica Below Zero?
Exit the base and head in the direction of the Glacial Basin Biome entrance. Once you approach it, go through the small cave-like. You will have to swim through it to navigate as any vehicle will be too big to pass through it. You will eventually get through the glacial stairs, climb them and get on the land. Keep climbing until you reach the Phi Robotics lab door. Once you see the door, go right from there. You will approach a small frozen water body. Cross that waterboy and you shall see a Snow Stalker wandering in that area who will be your source of the fur in Subnautica Below Zero.
How to Get the Fur from the Snow Stalker?
To get the fur from the Snow Stalker, use your Robot Penguin spy buddy. Operate it through the remote control and make it go to the Snow Stalker. Once the Robot Penguin is close by, you will get an option to ‘Attempt To Collect Fur’. Now, remember, the Penguin has only 4 cargo slots, you cannot collect more fur than that. you also need to be careful as to not get noticed b the Snow Stalker or else he will attack you. After the collection of fur, simply navigate the penguin buddy back to you and collect the fur from its storage. If you do not have a Robot penguin, you can craft it from the Phi Robotics Center in this biome.
You can also collect the fur without the Penguin. You will need to go further down the biome, across the location where you see a clearing with penguins. Further from there, you will need to find a frozen waterfall. On the right hand of the waterfall. you’ll see a cave. This cave has a Snow Stalker nest where you can find Snow Stalker fur that you can get without the Penguin spy robot. You need to be careful while entering as the cave is filled with them and they will attack you. There, in their nest, you will find some loose fur fragments lying that you can pick up. But there are high chances that you will be killed here as the Snow Stalkers will outnumber you. So we suggest you get the robot penguin first.
