The Sims 4 Relationship Cheats – Instant Friendship and Romance

Making friends and building a romantic relationship in Sims 4 can be tedious. There are certain requirements to build friendship in Sims 4, but what if you have a shortcut for doing this. Some cheats can help you to turn any Sim as your best friend or build a romantic relationship with the virtual character. So here are some Sims 4 instant friendship and romance cheats you can use on PC, Mac, PS4 and Xbox One.

Sims 4 Friendship and Romance Cheats

There are three Sims 4 cheat codes that will help you to instantly make another Sim your friend or you can indulge in a relationship with him or her. Below is the list of cheat codes.

  1. “Value” LTR_Friendship_Main – for Sim to Sim friendship.
  2. “Value” LTR_Romance_Main – For Romance
  3. “Value” LTR_SimtoPet_Friendship_Main – Relationship with a pet, works only for Cats and Dogs.

Here the value section will have a number between -100 to +100. This determines the intensity of friendship and romance in Sims 4.

  • ModifyRelationship YourSimFirstname YourSimLastname Sim2Firstname Sims2LastName “Value” Relationship-Type

This one is the main cheat, a full example of what you will have to type in the console command.

  • YourSimFirstName – First name of your Sim.
  • YourSimLastName – Last name of your Sim.
  • Sim2FirstName – First name of other Sim you to be your friend.
  • Sim2LastName – Last name of other Sim you to be your friend.
  • Relationship-Type- Type the final relationship cheat for Friendship, romance or for having a relationship with pet. This works for cats and dogs only.

Example:

  • ModifyRelationship Peter Parker Mary Jane +100 LTR_Friendship_Main

Type exactly what is shown in the format above, first, the cheat code that is ModifyRelationship, next is the name of sims starting your first and then comes the value and finally the last one the type of relationship you want.

How to turn on Relationship Cheats in Sims 4

If you do not know how to turn on cheats in Sims 4 then on PC press Ctrl + Shift + C to enable the cheat console. It is a small command line that is displayed on the top left of the screen. For console press L1+R1 or L2+R2.

The first code you will type to verify whether cheats are working or not is “testingcheats enabled”. If you do not get any error then you can proceed with Sims 4 relationship cheat below.

In the command line you will have to type the above cheats to enable activity. Just type the following command. Below is the example, you will have o specify your Sims name and name of the Sim you to add as friend. Along with the relation type.

So this is how you can use relationship cheats in Sims 4. You can instantly add any Sim in your friends list or start a new Romance if you are trying to complete Sims 4 100 baby challenge.
