Should You Side With Katsura or Taka in Rise of the Ronin?
Firstly, players must understand that when they choose either of these characters, they will indirectly be siding with one of the factions. It is important to note that the Katsura is Anti-Shogunate and will want you to assassinate Townsend Harris, while Taka supports the Pro-Shogunate faction and will request you to find out who is threatening Harris’s life.
However, you must know that siding with either of these forces will not affect the outcome of the quest. This means that, once the battle is over and the quest ends, Harris will get away. The only major factor here will be the story and faction you want to pursue. Therefore, this decision is entirely up to you.
