Diablo IV sets out to bring the ultimate action RPG experience back for players with its new graphics, detailed world-building, and many more interesting elements. For players to have a smoother and more efficient gameplay experience on their PC, they will want to look out for FPS drops which can cause issues while playing the game. To make sure you don’t miss out on much in-game, here is our guide on how you can enable and show the FPS counter in Diablo 4 and make the most of your gameplay.
How to Show FPS in Diablo 4
To enable the FPS counter while playing Diablo 4, players will simply have to press CTRL + R. Once done, a small FPS counter will show up in the bottom left corner of your screen. Since Blizzard incorporated the option in the game for PC users, there is no way for you to change its size and place. You can also see your Latency in the game by pressing the same keys again but you will lose your fps counter in this process. Pressing the keys once again will close the overlay. Sometimes it can be difficult for players to look in the corner for fps which makes it hard to read.
If you find the in-game method problematic, you can always switch to the FPS overlays of your dedicated graphic card software. In both Nvidia Geforce Experience and AMD Radeon software you will have to turn on the in-game overlay option from the settings and then choose FPS from the options. This will show you the FPS while playing the game along with your CPU and GPU usage.
That is everything on how you can show FPS in Diablo 4. We’re covering everything about the game, right from early game strategies to endgame builds. Check out our dedicated Diablo 4 section for more guides like this.
