Many players have their Shop not showing up in Overwatch 2 and need a fix. This can happen to you while your friends face no such problem. So in this guide check out how to fix the currently unavailable & missing in-game shop in Overwatch 2.

How to Fix Shop not Showing Up in Overwatch 2

overwatch 2 shop missing and currently unavailable fix

You can fix the Missing Shop error by Merging and Unmerging your Account. Before we get into the details of how this method works. Thanks to user xTinkx on the Blizzard forums for sharing this fix. Apparently, it worked for them and several users claim that this solution also helped them. You can check out their comment here. So here is how this fix works:

  1. Launch Overwatch 2 on your system.
  2. Next, go to the Battle.net website.
  3. On the top right corner, you will see the Account option. Click on it then log in.
  4. Next, click on it to bring out its drop-down menu.
  5. Here, click on Account Settings.
  6. On the left side, you will see several options, click on Connections.
  7. Here, you have the option to connect to several accounts:
    • Apple
    • Facebook
    • Google
    • Xbox Live
    • Nintendo
    • PlayStation Network
    • Twitch
  8. From here connect your account to any of the above options. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have an account to connect to. In the fix, they suggested connecting to your Nintendo account.
  9. Click continue when it asks for confirmation.
  10. Go back to your game and close it.
  11. Now, go back to your browser, and from your Connections remove your Nintendo Switch account. Or remove any other account that you just connected to. You can do that by clicking on Disconnect.
  12. Finally, open the game and you should see the Shop button.

Alternatively, if your account is already undergoing a merge then it should automatically appear after the process is complete. You can simply log out from your account and log back in and the game should show you Shop.

If both cases don’t work Submit this as a bug report to the developers.

That covers this guide on how to fix the in-game shop missing and not working error for Overwatch 2. For more help on other such bug fixes be sure to check out our Overwatch 2 Wiki.
