Survival is vital in Soulmask and you will often need to use the game mechanics on hand to acquire valuable resources that are key for you. While you are early in the game, you won’t have to worry about exploring far, but as you progress further and raise your awareness strength, you will have to head far and wide. Mining is one of the things that you will come across while exploring, and sooner or later, you will learn about mining platforms in Soulmask.
These platforms are spread across the map and players will first have to locate them before they can make their own setup. However, there will be a few Elite Plunders waiting to welcome you, all close to level 50 so you will have to make sure that you have your gear in top condition.
How to Setup Mining Platforms in Soulmask
Players can head to the Volcano to find one of the mining platforms in Soulmask, and there is another one in the Ancient Ruins. Once you reach the platform and take out the enemies waiting, you will find that the platform is broken and you need to repair it. Players will need specific parts in order to be able to do that. Additionally, the location is quite hot so players will need heat resistance gears while they head there.
Once you have the mining platform set up, you can assign one of the tribesmen to work there. Interact with the worker once he is close to the Mining Platform and then add the work type Mine Exploitation for their work plan. You can set up Mine Chests near the platform to collect your exploits and have them in your inventory. Do remember to assign heat resistance gears to the tribesmen that you assign work to at the mine.
Since you can always tame NPCs and recruit tribesmen, you wouldn’t have to worry a lot about losing workers at your base.
