This has got many steadfast players looking for its cheats or secret codes to earn free rewards. Since almost all its predecessor titles have included cheat codes, the remake would likely include cheats.

Super Mario RPG Remake Cheat Codes
The Super Mario RPG Remake features one secret cheat code which was exclusive to the Japanese version of the Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars on SNES. Likewise, this secret code was earlier exclusive to only Japan release. However, it’s now available in any version of the game.
You can enter this cheat code in the pause menu by pressing the following controls:
- Down, Up, Right, Left, L, R, L, R, B
Once you correctly input this code, Toad appears on the Pause menu and says the following:
- “You found a secret code”
Then, he will walk you through your stats and experience points to check if the cheat rewarded you with anything. However, he says nothing’s changed and keeps on checking in the Pause menu. Once done, he will say that there aren’t any cheat codes in the game and this will do the same thing every time.
So, this secret cheat code does nothing except add a funny easter egg.
