If you want to avoid stealing another crew’s map, you can simply borrow a map from your allies.
However, if you want to go down the fun route, you can get the map bundle by stealing or sinking an enemy ship. Once you get on board an enemy’s ship, you can head for the voyage table. Once you find the map, press the X button for some time, and you will soon find the map in your hands.
In order to get the map by force, you will need to sink the ship. After doing so, you will find the map floating on the surface of the water.
