Updated Date :

The Scattered Prism is a key item for upgrading Gear in Diablo 4. It is a rare-to-find crafting material that you will come across in the later part of the game. More specifically, the Scattered Prism adds Sockets to your Gear. It has no purpose other than being used as a crafting material for your Gear. So there are lesser chances for you to hear about this item. Due to its rarity, acquiring it may take a while, so we are here to help you out with it. Here’s how you can farm the Scattered Prisms in D4. Take a look below to get started.

How to Get the Scattered Prism in Diablo 4

Here’s what you can do to get the Scattered Prism in Diablo 4 (D4):

Defeat World Boss

Scattered Prism is found as a drop reward after defeating a World Boss in Diablo IV. As of now, there are 3 World Bosses that include:

  • Ashava, the Pestilent
  • Avarice, the Gold Cursed
  • Wandering Death

To simplify things, we have made a guide on the Diablo 4 World Boss Timer & Spawn Locations. You can refer to it and find them easily. Just to let you know that you can not square off against a World Boss until you have completed all the main quests.

Kill Treasure Goblin

Treasure Goblins don’t have any fixed location as they can be found anywhere in the Sanctuary. But remember that the Goblins drop Gold while they are on a retreat. So you can track those fallen wealth to find out the Treasure Goblin. Once you defeat it, it will drop a Scattered Prism, if you are lucky enough.

These are the only two main farming methods the Scattered Prism in Diablo 4 (D4). Among these, the most reliable way to obtain this Crafting Material is by defeating the World Boss. The other method depends on your luck so we can’t go with it completely.
