Dinkum: How To Save Progress

Published Date :

Dinkum is a farm life Indie Role-Playing game that was released on Steam as an early access. The game is set in or has similar elements to what seems like the wild Australian outback. While you explore the lands, you need to collect items and resources which will help you evolve your town. While players are generally loving the game, many are wondering how they save progress. Since there is no dedicated button, many are afraid of losing their progress. If you are here wondering the same, do not worry we have all you need here. So let’s check out this guide and see how to save progress in Dinkum.

How to Save Progress in Dinkum

Dinkum Save Progress

While it is not difficult to save your game, there are a few things involved while saving progress that you must know. Since a designated save button has not been placed, here’s what you need to do and remember while saving progress:

  • At the time of writing, saving progress in Dinkum is only possible by going to sleep.
  • Once you sleep, your progress will be saved and the next time you log in, your progress will start from the bed.
  • Once you go to sleep, wait for the results window to show your daily tasks and you can exit after that.
  • Since sleeping is the only way, make sure you have reached nighttime in the game.
  • This allows you to complete all the daily tasks since you won’t get the same tasks after you wake up.
  • If you have to exit mid-day, you will lose all the tasks and potentially a few items and resources.
  • Additionally, when you wake up you get new tasks. So if you want to pause the game for some time, sleeping might not be the best idea.
