Greyoll’s Dragonbarrow Rune Farming Location

While Greyoll’s Dragonbarrow is one of the tougher Rune farming locations in Elden Ring, being persistent here can see you rack up thousands of Runes quickly. Another great thing about this location is the fact that you do not really need to fight enemies here. You can simply evade them or spend little time battling them.

Here, you will need to battle the Elder Dragon Greyoll in order to progress. We recommend you summon Spirit Ashes to help you during this battle.

Caelid Rune Farming Location

Caelid is another great location to earn Runes quickly. However, before you head here, you need to be prepared to fight a lot of tricky enemies. We recommend you head to Caelid only once you are at a higher level.

Anastasia, Tarnished-Eater, Skeleton, Skeletal Slime, Cleanrot Knight, Lion Guardian, Giant Dragonfly, Raya Lucaria Knight are just some of the enemies you will have to battle here.

Stormhill Rune Farming Location in Elden Ring

If you are in the early stages of Elden Ring, we recommend you head over to Stormhill to quickly rack up some precious currency. You should head towards Stormhill’s south-eastern border. Once here, you will need to kill a few giants to get your hands on 1,000 Runes.

In Stormhill, you will come across the Black Knife Assassin enemy. You can use parry attacks to counter this boss

Zamor Ruins

Zamor Ruins is one of the best Rune farming spots in the game, and rightly so. To get here, you need to go to the Mountaintops of the Giants. We recommend you kick off proceedings at the top of the Rold Lift. Killing the first enemy you encounter here will get you 5,000 Runes. This particular site appears towards the endgame, so you need to keep this in mind. It is also arguably one of the best spots to acquire large quantities of Runes.

We recommend you take a look at our Best Rune Farming Guide in Elden Ring for additional information too.
