Risk of Rain apart from the obvious was quite famous for its useful mod community and support. Now that the remastered version of the game is available, it has gotten people talking about modding and whether there is any support for that. No, at the time of writing, there are no Risk of Rain Returns mods and with the code that the game is created, modding support will be difficult. But is that all there is to it? Additionally, even if there is no workshop, modding will also require some time and since the game is quite new, it’s unlikely to happen now.
Having said that, it’s worth noting that third-party mods these days can be pretty dangerous to have.
