Where to Purchase Rifts from NPCs?

You can purchase Rifts in Fortnite from the following NPCs:

  • Shanta: You will find this NPC near the group of 3 rocks close to the ocean. This location is towards the southwest edge of the island.
  • Tomato Head: You will find this NPC in a restaurant towards the south of Greasy Grove.
  • The Visitor: You will find this NPC towards the east of the Sanctuary, on a large islet shaped like a triangle.

As you can see, these are the locations and names of the NPCs you can buy Rifts from in Fortnite. You will need to pay approximately 245 Gold Bars to buy them from these NPCs.

In order to purchase the Rifts, you will first need to speak to any one of these NPCs. To do so, you need to press E on PC, Square on PlayStation, and X on Xbox.

Upon pressing the relevant button, you will find a dialogue radial popping up when you interact with the said NPC. Now, simply click on the Rift option. Next, press the button you use to interact with the NPC. Doing so will confirm your purchase. Upon purchasing the Rift, you will find yourself teleporting high above your current position.
