Not every character including your Pawns and NPCs is immortal in Dragon’s Dogma 2. So it’s not like they will respawn on the base after dying. Instead, you will have to put some effort into reviving them using a Wakestone. In case you are thinking that bringing someone back to life is going to be an easy journey, then you are wrong. Because often, you might lose track of their corpse. Even if you lose it, don’t worry as it’s still possible to revive that dead character in Dragon’s Dogma 2. Our guide here will explain to you how.
How to Revive Allies and NPCs in Dragon’s Dogma 2
As I said, you will need a Wakestone to revive Dead Characters in DD2. To get one Wakestone, you will need 3 Wakestone shards, and let me tell you that these shards are rare to find. Anyways, 3 Wakestones automatically get converted into 1 Wakestone inside your Inventory. So all you have to do is get closer to a dead character and use the Revive prompt to recover them.
Note: Wakestone Shards can either be purchased from in-game merchants, online store, or found inside the Treasure Chests.
Somehow if you lose the corpse, then you can find it contained in the Battahl Morgue or Vernworth Charnel House, whichever is nearby. All of you have to do is go and talk to the Morgue Attendant and tell him that you are looking for a corpse. You can then select a dead character from the list and a candle will be placed next to their coffin. This is done so you can identify the right coffin. Once you are near the coffin, interact with it to Revive the dead character in Dragon’s Dogma 2.
It’s important for you to figure out if the character should be revived or not. There are some NPCs that you need for the sake of progression, so it makes sense to bring them back to life. Aside from them, some NPCs play no crucial role in any quest. So it’s better not to waste your Wakestone Shards on them.
