How To Farm Ether In Returnal

Published Date :

Just as we have Ethereum, Returnal has Ether. And it is quite an important resource here too. You also do need to mine Ether in the game and that isn’t where the similarities end. You can even trade it with other online players for a wildly inflated price. It’s almost as if Housemarque had a look at the real world. Jokes apart, the Ether is a pretty important resource that you should stock up on when you get the chance. And in this guide, we will show you exactly how to do that by showing you how to farm Ether in Returnal.

How to farm and get Ether in Returnal

How To Farm Ether In Returnal
Get 5 units of Ether after boss fights.

The best way to farm  Ether is to complete the Daily Simulation Challenges. Upon completing the Daily Simulation Challenges you get to earn 5 units of Ether every day. This is the easiest and most reliable method to farm Ether.

Exploring the various maps in Returnal is also a good way to get Ether, albeit a lengthy one. All the maps have at least three Ethers lying around. They are pretty easy to spot too as they glow bright purple. However, they can also be confused for a Malignant drop so make sure you read the description when interacting with it.

Boss Fights are the next best method to get Ether. You can keep replaying Boss Fights over and over again and you will get 5 units of Ether every time you complete one.

You can even purchase Ether online by interacting with a Fabricator. This is an expensive process and will cost you a pretty penny. This should definitely be your last resort, but well, it’s up to you.

Ether is a very handy resource as it necessary in crafting items in Returnal. It is also used in cleaning all kinds of Malignant items in and around the map. Ether is also used to create the ‘Reconstructor’ a machine that will allow you to respawn without losing all your gear.

This is everything you need to know about how to get and farm Ether in Returnal. While you are here you can even have a look at some of our other Returnal Guides.
