Resident Evil Village: How To Save Game

Updated Date :

How to save your game in Resident Evil Village? Save means you can go back and correct a section if you like you’ve wasted too much ammunition on certain enemies or even used up too several health products. It seems to be a good thing to save your progression from time to time so that you don’t have to go way too far before your die. Some checkpoints have an autosave function. But manually saving a game in Resident Evil Village follows its roots and this is indeed a genre classic. So let’s find out how to save games in Resident Evil 8.

How to Save in Resident Evil Village?

To save your game in Resident Evil Village, you find and interact with any safe room typewriter. Signifying that, you have to locate a typewriter so that you can save your progress. Typewriters can be located in a safe room and they offer a small relief from the chaos happening around you.

Unlike previous games, you don’t need ink ribbons or other things to save, so you can do so if you come across a typewriter. Just before entering the castle Dimitrescu, you’ll come across your very first typewriter in a bizarre church in the village. You’ll now be allowed to select one of the 20 save slots available for you. Pick the slot you want to save or overwrite your game and then press X on a PlayStation or A on an Xbox to validate the save.

At boss fights and other challenging interactions, Resident Evil Village also has an autosave option. Whenever the game is periodically saving your progression, it will display a rotating grey icon in the upper left corner of the screen.

That’s everything to know about how to save your games in Resident Evil 8 Village. While you are here, don’t miss out on our Resident Evil 8 wiki guides that will help you in the terrifying journey.
