This quest is not particularly hard but many players are not able to find Biscuit. For those wondering, this magical beast is a mooncalf, that you have to capture. But there are many of them in the area so finding the right one is troublesome.

The best way to find Biscuit in Hogwarts Legacy is to use the Aim Mode and point it at the Mooncalves. Unlike others, when you point at the right one, the top of the screen will show “Biscuit the Mooncalf”. Then all you have to do is capture it. However, it is easier said than done. Because this mooncalf is fast and will run away if you go closer.

To rescue Biscuit, use the Disillusionment Charm and sneak behind it. Then, use your Nab-Sack and capture it before returning it to the owner.

“Take the Biscuit” Quest Overview

To trigger this quest, you must complete the main quest called the “Astronomy Class”. Then, go to Hogsmeade and you’ll meet a Goblin named Garnuff. He’ll ask you to rescue his pet mooncalf from poachers. You can find the Poachers Camp by following the quest marker on the minimap. At the camp, fight all the poachers and defeat them. Then, look for a large cage with mooncalves in it. Open it using Alohomora and then you can rescue Biscuit as mentioned above. Then, you can return to Garnuff in Hogsmeade.

Once you meet Garnuff, you’ll be presented with three choices. You’ll get the following rewards for the first two choices:

  • Beast Rescuer Robe
  • 300 Gold Coins

However, you can also choose to keep it with you in the Vivarium. This will anger the Goblin but the mooncalf will be yours.
