What Red Dead Redemption offers is simple yet speaks volumes when it actually comes to investing your time and money in it, a game that literally lets you live off your wild wild west fantasies and you are the shepherd of this story, guiding and progressing it as the narrative takes you on a wonder ride, but there’s something more this game offers than just a brilliant single player mode and that’s the online version, where you can create a posse of yourself and your friends. Every adventure you can have in this game gets multiplied many times over when shared with friends who love the game as much as you do.

The first thing you’re going to need is a camp which you will encounter early in the game, you can choose between a small or a large camp depending how large your posse is for a minimal fee and after you’re done selecting your choices the game will give you a couple to missions to carry out.

Once you return from the said missions, you meet up with Cripps and a brief cutscene later, viola! you’ll be in your brand new camp. The prompt side menu will guide you through the player menu and from there manage different options for your posse. Once you have everything you want the way you want it, select Form a Posse.
How to create a posse in Red Dead Online
- Load into Free Roam Menu
- Press Left on the D-Pad and Scroll down to Posse
- Press Square / X and Select the type of Posse you want to create
- Temporary or Persistent, and the settings for it.
- Once you are done Scroll down and select ‘Form a Posse’
- Enjoy the New Pose
At this point, you can manage the different members of the posse, and also invite people. Scroll down to Invite to Posse. Find the people you want, and sent them invitations. When they accept them, they’ll pop up in your game.
