Should You Recruit or Execute Melisandre in Unicorn Overlord?
As mentioned earlier, you will encounter Melisandre, the swordfighter during the ‘Blade of House Melliet‘ quest. While completing this quest, you and your army will have to fight against her. To get either of the options of recruiting or executing Melisandre, you will have to ensure that you deploy Alain along with other units during this combat.
Additionally, if you are able to witness the commentary between Melisandre and Colm during this battle, that means she will be willing to get recruited by you. After the intense fight, once you reach the end of ‘The Blade of Melliet‘ quest, if you select the option to recruit her, apart from a great swordfighter, her advisor Colm also joins the army. On the other hand, if you choose to execute her, you will be rewarded with 30 Honors.
We would advise you to recruit Melisandre in Unicorn Overlord, as her skills will come in handy during battles. Additionally, executing her will only give you 30 Honors, which is a common resource and can be easily farmed without much effort.
Should you Announce Yourself or Ignore Melisandre in Unicorn Overlord?
Shortly after Melisandre gets the news of Alain and his army’s arrival, she will come to visit you and warn you about the battle that is about to begin. You will have the option to either ‘Announce yourself’ or ‘Ignore her’.
If you choose to announce yourself and greet her back, you will exchange a few dialogues with her. Additionally, if you choose to ignore her, you will simply skip the dialogues, however, it won’t negatively affect your chances of recruitment. Therefore, greeting her or ignoring her is entirely up to you.
