The process of putting a Face Paint in Horizon Forbidden West is pretty simple. First off, you will need to find a specific NPC, a Painter to be exact. Once you get to one of them, just talk to them and then put on a Face Paint that you own for 10 Metal Shards. Although to one may not be as easy. You can go to Zokkah, you can find him in the Scalding Spear, or to the Painters in Bulwark and Thornmarsh. In either case, you can get to any of them after hours of Gameplay. You cannot put it on in the beginning area of Horizon Forbidden West.

Face Paints are an obtainable resource. You can get them by completing Main Quests, Side Quests, & other objectives. Once you do get one, all it takes is to talk to one of the aforementioned NPCs and put on the Face Paint. If you want to test out the Face Paints you get then you can try out the Photo Mode. Press the Options button and select Photo Mode. Now as you get into the Photo Mode menu, You will see Face Paint as an option. Just hover over it and you will be able to see how each Face Paints look on Aloy. Do keep in mind that they are temporary and will be removed once you get out of Photo Mode.

This was all about putting on a Face Paint in Horizon Forbidden West. Hopefully, this guide has helped you. You can also check out our guide on How To Use The Co-Pilot Mode in Horizon Forbidden West.
