If you acquire these collectibles in Psychonauts 2, you will unlock a new intern rank. To do so, you have to collect them across different levels. An increased intern rank will yield intern credits. You can apply these credits to upgrade your pyrokinesis and levitation, among other such abilities. They will help make your Razputin much more powerful.

In Psychonauts 2, you’ll come across 5 kinds of Emotional Baggage. These collectibles will appear across the different levels. All you need to remember is that not all 5 levels will feature the 5 types of Emotional Baggage.

Now, as mentioned earlier, you will need corresponding tags in order to collect Emotional Baggage.
