Pokémon Unite, the free-to-play MOBA releases for Nintendo Switch on 21 July 2021, and both Android & iOS versions released in September 2021. So with the ability to add around 500 friends, Pokemon Unite is going to be a massive game with all these users it’s aiming for. How to Add Friends in Pokemon Unite?
You’ll need the Player ID to add other players and friends in Pokemon Unite. Player ID is also known as Trainer ID in Pokemon Unite. With this ID you can find them in your Friends Menu by using the in-game search tool. Keep in mind that your friends can’t be searched just by using their Trainer Name alone. To be able to search for and add additional players, you’ll have to ask for their Player ID.
This unique Trainer ID will be generated for you once you create a Pokemon Unite account. Your friends can use this ID to invite you to their respective friends list. The alphanumeric characters above your trainer name in the bottom center of the screen are your Player ID. By hitting the L button on the main screen, you may access your Player Card and also see your Player ID. The game currently allows up to 500 Player IDs to be added as your friends, which is more than enough for the majority of all the players out there.
How to Invite Friends to Play Pokémon Unite Online Multiplayer?
To play Online Multiplayer in Pokemon Unite, you need to get to Unite Battle menu by completing the initial tutorial. Random Match, Friendly Match, and CPU Battle are the three different types of matches available in this Battle Menu.
Random Match pits you against other teams online with other Trainers. In this mode, you may also invite your friends to play with you. Friendly Match allows you to arrange up matches between certain friends quickly and simply. You may use this to challenge your friends in 5 vs 5 battles. CPU Battle allows you to play with AI-controlled teammates and opponents. You can use this to acquaint yourself with the game’s mechanics.
To invite & adds friends to a Pokemon Unite friendly match, go to the Battle Menu and choose Friendly Match. Then choose to Invite a Friend by clicking on the + button. A menu will appear with a list of all of your friends. Select the person you would like to invite. Choose Invite from the drop-down menu. Now your friend will get an invitation to the friendly match. You may also invite friends to the Random Match mode using the same process.
You can also join your Friends’ lobby directly by using their Lobby ID. It is situated on the left side of the game screen. Your friends can use this Lobby ID to find your game using the Lobby Search option. You also join your friends’ active lobbies using their Lobby ID in the same manner.
