How To Create Non Dedicated Servers In Ark Survival Ascended

To play with friends in Ark Survival Ascended, players will have to create a server and invite them in-game. With it, you will be able to have a private session with 7 other players in the game. Here are the steps you can follow to create and host a non-dedicated server to play multiplayer with friends:

  • Select the Create Game option after pressing Start
  • After selecting the difficulty, you will be able to select the map
  • Once done you will find the option of Singleplayer and Non-dedicated game type
  • To play with friends, you will have to click on the Non-dedicated option
  • After which you will have to create the server by setting up the name and password.

Your friends will then have to join the server by selecting the Join Game option in Ark Survival Ascended. As mentioned before, you will be able to have an 8-player lobby in the game. And other players will be able to access the server you or the host of the server is online.

You can join in the official public multiplayer if you have more than 8 players in your lobby. The public multiplayer supports up to 70 players in the game.
