One of the toughest jobs to do in Cyberpunk 2077 is making choices with multiple outcomes. You never know which decision can alter the course of the game until it has happened. A similar type of situation arises during the Pisces side quest where your choices can affect your bond with Judy Alvarez, a potential romanceable character.
Not only that but your choices have some other outcomes that decide the fate of certain NPCs. Now that you know that the stakes are too high, you must choose what’s best for business. So to help you with that, we will help you with deciding the Best Outcome for the Pisces quest in Cyberpunk.
First of all, we will explain all the choices and their outcomes and then, we will see what’s best among them.
Here are all the Pisces Outcomes in Cyberpunk 2077
There are a total of four outcomes that can happen at the end of the Pisces. All of them are explained below:
Let Maiko take Control of the Club & Accept the Reward from her
If you let Maiko do all the talking, she will eventually present an offer to the Tyger Claw Bosses. After that, Hiromi Sato will be replaced by Maiko as the new owner of the Clouds. Later, you can speak to Maiko and decide if you want rewards from her. If you accept her reward then Judy will get upset about it. So you won’t be able to interact with her anymore.
Let Maiko take Control of the Club & Refuse Rewards from her
During this segment, Maiko will replace Hiromi Sato and take control of the club. And later, you can refuse to take rewards from her. This is to show that V, Judy, and the rest of the doll members are still against Maiko’s change of plan. After making this decision, Judy will be somewhat mad but still be available as a love interest for V.
Declare Cloud’s Independence & Kill Maiko
While Maiko is about to make her offer to the Tyger Claw Bosses, you can interrupt and say “Cloud Declares its Independence.” It is obvious that the rivals aren’t in favor of this decision and hence they will try to attack you. To get rid of the Tyger Claw Bosses, you must kill them. After doing so, Maiko will get mad after which you can choose to kill or spare her. If you have decided to kill Maiko, then Judy will be saddened to hear about it. But she will still be a romanceable NPC.
Declare Cloud’s Independence & Spare Maiko
Declaring the Cloud’s Independence will immediately turn all the Tyger Claw Bosses hostile. So you have to kill and then wait for Maiko to show her disappointment in what you have done. As she was trying to execute her sneaky plan of taking control over the Cloud, you can either punish or spare her. If you spare Maiko, then she will reveal that killing Tyger Claw Bosses was a big mistake. Their gang will take revenge on their behalf.
What’s the Best Outcome for Pisces in Cyberpunk?
According to me, the best outcome for this mission would be siding with Maiko, but refusing her money. Doing so will not only eliminate Hiromi Sato’s reign on the Cloud but also keep Judy as an available love interest.
The second morally correct alternative would be to declare Cloud’s independence and spare Maiko. However, the celebrations after this event won’t last long as the Tyger Claw Gang will take revenge in the future. That’s why, I think that letting Maiko take control (& refusing rewards) would be a better decision to make in Cyberpunk 2077.
Tip: Make sure to collect Tsumetogi, an iconic Tier 5 Katana placed on the table inside Hiromi’s Office.
