One of the most sought-after customization items is Pink Dye, which lets you recolor furniture, clothing, and other objects in a bright and cheerful pink shade. Not sure how to get it? How to Get Pink Dye in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
To get pink dye, you need to unlock the Recycling Factory and it can be done by bringing your Friendship with Hello Kitty to 11. Then, start the Reef Revival quest which will bring you to the Recycling Factory underwater. The best starter gift is Mama’s Apple Pie, and some more great gifts include the Red Bow Apple Pie, Strawberry Shortcake, Candied Banana Coffee, Beignets with Pineapple Dip, Fruit Tart, etc.
The Reef Revival quest can be done with Keroppi wherein you must collect x10 trash pieces and bring them to Keroppi at the Plant. When you take such trash to the Recycling Plant, it will give you Dye pouches in exchange. You will also get Coral Spores and Coral keys, however, if you want a dye pouch of a specific color like pink, you can recycle certain items you don’t want. Doing this will destroy the item, so be careful about what you add.
To specifically get pink dye, you can recycle:

- Light Stone
- Shiny
- Starfish
- Candy Cloud
- Glow Berry
- Sakura
- Swampmallow
- Amazing My Melody Comic Book
- Little Twin Stars’ Trip Comic Book
You need to provide 10 items of the same color to get that particular dye, so ensure that you recycle those items that you have plenty of and don’t mind getting rid of them. However, the rarity of the item boosts your chance of getting more than 1 dye.
You can also get pink dye in Hello Kitty Island Adventure from Character Gift boxes of TOPHAT, Hangyodon, Lala, Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Kuromi, and My Sweet Piano. Lastly, you can obtain some dye from the Fwishing Well, and Treasure Chests, but the Recycling Plant is the most reliable way.
After you reach level 5 friendship with Tuxedosam, and have completed the Comic Relief quest, you will get access to the Clothing Dye Station. Complete the Tuxedosam’s Dye Upgrade quest and then, you can change the color of your clothing items using the pink dye you’ve obtained. If you’d like to customize your furniture instead, you need to reach Level 5 Friendship with My Sweet Piano and finish The Fun in Furniture quest series, which will help you change the furniture to pink color.
