How to get a Pickaxe in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
The quest that gives you the Pickaxe is Revive the Oasis and before you get to this, you need to level up to Friendship level 11 with My Melody and complete the quests called Dessert-ed Boat and Parched. You will also need to get to Friendship Level 4 with Pompompurin.
When the Revive the Oasis quest is initiated, talk to Keroppi and My Melody will join you soon after. Then head towards the wooden bridge and you’ll see that a boulder is blocking the entrance to the cave. Go towards the blue “!” marker nearby and explore the area. While you’re inside, look for another entrance marked with the same blue exclamation mark.
There you will meet Chococat and he will give you the Pickaxe Plans. Head to any crafting table and use 10 Woodblocks and 3 Ingots to craft a Pickaxe in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Ingots can be crafted from 3x Iron and can also be obtained from some Treasure chests as well as Gem Match, and Crane Craze mini-games.
Woodblocks on the other hand can be crafted from 7x Coconut or 5x Stick. You can also get it through the Crane Craze mini-game.
After getting the Pickaxe, go back to the location and use it to break the boulders. However, note that some boulders won’t be breakable with it and may need progression of certain quests to remove them.
