How to solve footsteps puzzle in Persona 5 Strikers
Follow these footsteps to complete this puzzle.

When you come to the end of Alice’s Jail you will have to click a number of switches in a particular order. This will allow you to access an elevator. With this elevator, you will come even closer to Alice’s Shadow. However, doing this mission is difficult on its own, and here’s where the Thief Vision comes in handy. On activating Thief Vision you will see a set of footprints on the ground. You have to keep following these pink footsteps and you will come to a machine that has not been activated as of yet.

Picking the wrong machine will warn enemies of your presence and you will find yourself surrounded by the guards. Therefore, it isn’t feasible to do this mission by keeping your fingers crossed. Once you activate the Thief Vision you will see that the footsteps move from one machine to the other in a particular order. Head to the initial machine which the footsteps lead to. After this follow the order of the machines the footsteps visit. Not all machines have footsteps leading to them so you can ignore them.
