Learn how to operate the pool cleaner.

Well, the answer to that is unfortunately left up to you. However, I will explain what happens when you choose either of the two. Strap in, it’s about to get foamy.

Cleaning the pool

Now, who wouldn’t like a clean pool when they visit a hotel during their vacation. Albeit you arent on vacation but you can still choose to do a good deed, can’t you? To clean the pool you will have to:

  • Visit the Sun Parlor.
  • You will see three huge tubes with a board on the side.
  • Just below this, you can see an open journal.
  • Inside the journal, you will see a specific formula to clean the pool.
  • Enter the numbers in that specific order in the tubes beside you.
  • After that go to the computer terminal beside the tubes and confirm your choice.
  • A message will pop up saying you have received the pool cleaner.
  • Use this at the pool filter to clean the pool.
  • You will be rewarded with the Slug Storeroom Key by Dolph.

Doing so will also allow you to get some additional information from Dolph which might come in handy going ahead. The Slug Storeroom has some weapons that can be useful for you in the game.

Ruin the Pool

Now this journey starts the same way. In the journal where the chemicals are mentioned, you will see a note that says you have to meet a mysterious person. To meet this person you will have to head up to the hotel balcony. You will know when you have arrived courtesy of your HUD. Here there will be Spacer’s Choice representative named Donovan Matthas waiting who looks very sleazy. You will in turn receive 1250 Bits from Donovan for doing the same.

Now, the only reason to go behind this method is if you have previously shown allegiance to the Spacer’s Choice. To complete this you will basically have to add different numbers than the ones in the journal. Later you can add it to the pool filter and voila, the pool is dirty. You will also get experience points and get you closer to the Spacer’s Choice.

This is everything you need to know about whether you should Clean or Ruin the Pool in Outer Worlds: Murder On Eridanos. While you are here find the Spectrum Gatling gun and get the Needler.
