You can use Glacius or Arresto Momentum on the pendulum to open the Shutting doors in Hogwarts Legacy. While both of these methods work almost the same, you get more flexibility with Glacius. Not sure, what we mean? Don’t worry this is how you can solve these door puzzles for Clock Towers:

  1. Equip Glacius or Arresto Momentum as one of your spells.
  2. Go to the Clock Tower.
  3. Now, look for the Symbol of the big circle on the door.
  4. Next, look around for the same symbol and wait for it to align with the pendulum.
  5. The moment, the symbol and pendulum are in front of each other cast Glacius or Arresto Momentum on the pendulum.
  6. This will slow down or freeze the pendulum, depending on the spell you used. Allowing you to rush to the door in the clock tower and open it.

The best part is this same solution works for all 4 Shutting door puzzles in the Clock Tower. The only catch is that with Arresto Momentum you need to be fast. Because if you don’t open the door quickly, the spell will wear out and lock the door behind the gates again.

That covers this guide on how to solve and open the Shutting Clock Tower Doors puzzle in Hogwarts Legacy.
