Who Is Ominis Gaunt?
Ominis Gaunt is a student you meet in Hogwarts Legacy after joining the house Slytherin. He is a descendant of Salazar Slytherin and one of the few purebloods from the House Gaunt. Upon talking to him you will find out that he isn’t very proud of being a member of the house Gaunt. Interestingly he opposes the use of Dark Arts and unforgivable curses like the spell Crucio. Sadly, because he refused to use it on Muggles, his father would use it on him as a form of punishment. This not only traumatized him but also turned him bitter and distrusting of other people.
But he wasn’t the only one who opposed the use of Dark Arts in his family. His favorite aunt, Noctua Gaunt also believed that there had to be more to Salazar Slytherin than just the insistence of pure-bloods.
