This allows the VR Headsets to utilize the PC hardware instead of its Mobile hardware to render the VR World. With such a feature, it is always recommended to use the Oculus Link whenever you boot up the Quest 2 or subsequent VR Headsets. There are a few reasons why the Oculus Link Not Working issue occurs. One of which is due to the authorization. Your Oculus VR Headset may not be connecting as the Link may not be authorized. Here is how you can fix it. Before connecting your Oculus to your PC, make sure your Oculus is On. Once that is done, connect it to your PC and there will be a pop-up message in the Oculus Headset. Click on the Authorize button and then Confirm. This should fix the Oculus Link Not Working issue. If that didn’t work out for you then check which USB Ports you are using to connect the devices with the Link Cable. Make sure you are using USB 3.0 Ports.

Certain PCs will come with built-in USB Ports that are VR-ready. Using those kinds of Ports is highly recommended. There is a premium way of getting a USB 3.0 port by purchasing a 3.0 PCI Card and attaching it to the motherboard. If you already have 3.0 Ports then you don’t have to do this step. If the problem persists then try reconnecting it till you can do the above steps or contact Customer Support.
