There could be a few reasons that cause the Controller Not Working issue on Oculus Quest 2. The main reason is that there might be a problem with the Battery of the Controller. Here is what could be wrong:
- The Battery is out of Power.
- The battery size may not be matching the Oculus Quest 2.
- Over time, the Battery pins of the Oculus Quest 2 may have loosened up.
- There might be some major issues with the Controller itself.
The Oculus Quest 2 uses disposable AA batteries by default. So if you don’t have the rechargeable ones then these are the ones you should be using. If the Battery has exhausted its power then you will have to get some new ones. Over time, the pins that hold the Battery in place may loosen up. As such you may want to get that checked by Meta Support. There is a way of doing it by using Aluminum foil but I highly do not recommend doing it. If even after the Battery has been replaced and the Controller Not Working issue persists on the Oculus Quest 2 then you may want to contact Meta Support.
