No Man’s Sky Origins: How to Add Multitool Slots

There’s a multitool upgrade station added in No Man’s Sky Origins. This station is the hub where you can do everything about multitool right from adding slots, upgrading their classes, and upgrading multitools.

To add multitool slots, you will have to first buy and collect some maps. You can get this done from the cartographer. Head there and get secret cartographic data. You need to get them as many as you can and depending on the multitool slots you want to add.

Now follow the map to wherever it takes you. It will lead you to a manufacturing facility, where you need to fight some enemies. Once this is done, you will be able to expand your multitool slots.

No Man’s Sky Origins: How to Upgrade Multitool

Once you have added slots, head back to the upgrade station and select the multitool that you wish to upgrade. It will show the amount required to purchase the upgrade. If you have the amount, go ahead and upgrade multitool in No Man’s Sky Origins.
