Nier Replicant: Where To Get The Rusted Clump

Published Date :

Weapons are the key to Nier Replicant. A game so heavily dependent on combat makes upgrading weapons a necessity. With a wide range of one-hand swords and two-hand swords, you have a lot of options for weapons. The Rusted clump is one such resource that is very integral for your weaponry, one that is needed to upgrade a variety of weapons. Let’s see how you can get the Rusted Clump in Nier Replicant.

How To Get The Rusted Clump In Nier Replicant?

Nier Replicant Rusted Clump location
Players will have to fish to find the Rusted Clump. You can fish for The Rusted Clump anywhere but we would recommend you to fish for it in the Desert as it has an abundance of it. It might sound odd to look for a lake in the desert but that’s how the world of Nier is. You can fast-travel to the desert and then take the stairs to your right. Go down all the way and you will see a boat, although it might not look like the boat is on a certain kind of lake. Head to the coast and start fishing, you can use any bait but as per our experience Sardines works the best. Sardines increases your chance of getting a Rusted Clump by at least 25% so remember to buy some on your way to the desert.

Fishing is a game of patience so you might want to complete all the Fisherman’s gambit quests to get the Rusted Clump quickly. Once you have the Rusted clump take it to the twins Jakob and Gideon, the brothers who run the weaponry. The brothers will be able to guide you the best and make most of the Rusted clump you have fished.

That’s all for this guide. Do check out our article on how to find the Dented Metal bat in Nier Replicant.
